Restaurants in Comporta

Restaurants

Comporta’s culinary scene is a celebration of ‘barefoot luxury’. From chic beachfront restaurants serving the morning’s fresh catch to traditional, family-run tascas tucked away in the villages, dining here is always relaxed, authentic, and deeply connected to the region’s rich agricultural roots.

For comprehensive restaurant recommendations, explore our free Comporta Guide.

  • Ilha do Arroz
Our preferred spot right ON the beach: perfect warmth behind the panoramic glass, also on windy days.
  • Dona Bia
You'll always see cars parked outside, and for good reason. It looks incredibly unassuming, but the traditional Portuguese food is simply the best in town. We absolutely love their fresh fish and rice dishes.
  • Quinta da Comporta
Pricey, but the scenery of the resort and the atmosphere created by the high quality restored former barn makes it very much worth it. Food is excellent as well.
  • A Cegonha
Basic but excellent Portuguese food in a no-frills environment right in the heart of Comporta.
